Therapy Session Fees

& Payment Options

My fee for a 55-minute individual therapy session is $150. I understand that financial considerations can sometimes be a barrier to accessing quality care, so I offer a limited number of sliding scale appointments. Please don't hesitate to inquire about this option during our initial consultation. Payment is kindly requested at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, and major credit cards for your convenience.

I am not in network with insurance companies, however, I might be considered an out-of-network provider on your insurance policy. So although payment is out-of-pocket, I can provide you with a “superbill” (billing statement) for you to submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement, or it might count towards your OON deductible. I would encourage you to call your insurance company and ask the following questions about your plan:

• Do I have out of network behavioral health benefits?

• Is there a deductible? How much is it and has it been met?

• What is the covered amount (after deductible is met) per therapy session with a licensed mental health counselor?

• Is a referral required by my primary doctor?
